Thank you for your interest in The Loft at Jack's Barn and our INN, Twenty Belvidere. We still have dates for 2018 and are booking now for 2019. Please review the information supplied below. Feel free to reach out to us at your earliest convenience for a discussion and to schedule a tour. Our tours are during the week from 10am until 8pm Monday through Thursday, by appointment only. Our weekends, during season (April through November) are devoted to our weddings and events, for which we give our full attention, so appointments are not usually made on the weekends.  


  • Is there heat and air conditioning in The Loft?  Capacity?
  • The Loft is equipped with central heating and air conditioning with a max capacity is 125 persons; when utilizing both our indoor and outdoor spaces.


  • What's the cost?
  •  Pricing for the venue is available upon request.  The fee is for a five (5) hour event.  Additional time is available for an additional fee, however, all events end at 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and by 8:00 p.m. for Sunday. We offer an additional hour's grace, after your end time, for the exit of your guests and for clean up. The location fee is for the use of the space and does not include catering nor beverages.  

 

  • Is there somewhere private for us to ready ourselves for our big day?  What time can we get there?
  • We offer you and your partner separate private suites along with a rest room for you to ready yourselves for your special day.  You may arrive as early as 10:00 a.m. to avail yourselves of these accommodations.


  • Will we be able to get there early to decorate?  Who does the decorating and clean up?
  • The Loft is a D.I.Y ("Do it Yourself") venue.  We give you the palette for you to design and decorate to your liking.  Your team can arrive as early as 10:00 a.m. the day of your event to decorate.  As with all D.I.Y, the expectation is that you/your team also must remove all decorations/furnishings at the completion of your event.  Should you not wish to clean up at the end of the eve, consider hiring people to assist!


  • How big is the space? 
  • The main Loft area and main Foyer (ceremony area/dance floor) occupies approximately 5000 square feet; spacious enough yet intimate.


  • Being that it is a 'barn'...are there indoor bathrooms?
  • Spacious, indoor restrooms are available just off the main foyer.


  • Is there a bar?  Room for my DJ/Band?
  • An elevated stage area is available for your DJ/band. There is also a spacious bar provided.


  • Are chairs and tables included? 
  • Farm tables and a eclectic mix of old chairs are included as well as some antique furnishings for your use.  Other chair choices are available to rent if you'd like!


  • Is there adequate parking? 
  • Valet parking is included in your venue fee.  We have a well lit parking lot. 


  • Are you ADA compliant?
  •  Yes.  we have a wheelchair lift available as well as ADA equipped restrooms.  


  • Is there outdoor space?

  •  The barn is poised on several acres and offers you many options for your special day. Perhaps a tented outdoor cocktail reception prior to an indoor dinner or maybe an outdoor ceremony! There are many possibilities and we look forward to sharing them with you upon your visit.


  • Are there any reviews of the facility?
  • Reviews are available on tripadvisor.com, Weddingbee, Weddingwire, The Knot & Pinterest. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram or just google "Jacks Barn photos or reviews"...plenty is out there!


  • Where can I stay?  Lodging for my guests?
  • On our home page there is also a tab for our private inn, Twenty Belvidere , located a mile from The Loft, which can offer many options; accommodations for you and your party including but not limited to a private rehearsal dinner, a brunch, or just a place to ready yourselves.  The Inn sleeps 16 comfortably. The Inn's location is private and offers itself to great photo opportunities! Of note, we do not permit after parties at the Inn.  Several well know chain hotels are within a short drive of the Barn and we can certainly assist with recommendations.


  • Will there be other events at the Barn the day of my event?
  • No! We only cater to one event at each venue per day. We believe strongly in giving our undivided personal attention to you and your event.


  • How do I reserve my date?  How much do I need for a deposit?
  • Contact us for a personal tour. To reserve a date for your event, a minimum of 25% is due at the time of signing the contract.


  • Pricing for catering?
  •  Catering fees are additional and vary based on your budget.  Our preferred caterers are the ONLY caterers to choose from. Outside caterers are not permitted.
